Homemade Inverter Generator 1.8kW

Homemade Inverter Generator 1.8kW Tube. Duration : 2.68 Mins.

I built the generator a few years because we used a lot of power outages, and did not know what I saw at Home Depot and Lowe's not. Used several times for power outages, our annual Ham Radio Club Field Day, and where there is no air conditioning. Even if it leads only 1800W, can its battery-inverter gene arrangement set to run in silent mode (engine off). I have more than 500 Ah, I can add additional capacity, then at 1 kW load, I can run on batteries for about 6 hours(Conservative), and about 10 hours at 500W load restarted before the engine to recharge the batteries. I found the engine, generator, inverter and generator frame, all new, all on eBay. The alternator, if not in the video (much noise) is an OEM process device 140A and the engine is a Briggs & Stratton 6.0hp vertical shaft, electric start. Xantrex makes the inverter (sine 1800 with a pro-12V input, 120VAC output hard-wired), and the frame was from a Coleman 6500 generator. The wheels are pneumatic and steering is tailor-made brass fitting. The engine drives the alternator via a belt of K-6, 6-rib serpentine. Motor pulley 7.00 "dia. And the pulley is 5.00" dia., One old Ford smog pump. I am no longer looking for suggestions for a name, I'll just call my generator 1.8kW inverter.
